Intended for teachers in elective courses such as business, computer applications, visual and performing arts and physical education. This strand demonstrates how AVID strategies and college readiness can be supported in all subject areas. Participants will be trained in strategies such as goal-setting, organization, note-taking and time management with particular focus on incorporating these college readiness skills into all classes, from athletics to choir, in both middle school and high school. $350 includes materials, continental breakfast, and lunch.
