Site Team 2011 Registration

The RIMS AVID Site Team Conference is designed to support the collaborative work of AVID school site teams, revisit school site plans and focus on the changes in school organization, working toward the institutionalization of AVID as a school-wide system. Interdisciplinary teams, consisting of AVID coordinator/elective teacher(s), an administrator, content area teacher(s) and a counselor, will examine practices aligned with creating a college readiness culture and promoting student success, analyze data trends, and revise site team plans to address school and system specific goals. Breakouts will include opportunities for district and vertical articulation, as well as a morning breakfast meeting for administrators. The 2011 RIMS AVID Site Team Conference is being held at the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort and Spa in Indian Wells, California. The cost of $200/person ($250/person for a single room) includes one night's lodging, materials, two continental breakfasts and two lunches.
