Intended for English Language Arts teachers who have previously attended English/Language Arts 1. Principally designed for English teachers teaching grades 11 and 12, it focuses on strategies from The Write Path English Language Arts 2 Teacher Guide, provided to participants, with the primary focus on critical reading and writing, and developing students' work habits and high-level thinking skills. Participants will examine strategies for scaffolding students through rigorous curriculum with an emphasis on AVID’s college readiness goal. $350 includes materials, continental breakfast, and lunch.
